1. RESEARCH PROJECT
Students are encouraged to undertake a research project that will enable them to experience contemporary research methods by designing a research programme and performing experiments, surveys, or other research activities aimed at solving a specific biomedical or biological problem.
They will have the opportunity to add their practical and intellectual skills in scientific investigation. They will also gain experience of project and time management, and acquire specialised skills related to the project.
Objectives of the project:
1- Familiarise students with the reseach environment, developing skills necessary to undertake research in Molecular Biology.
2- The course aims students to carry out critical evaluation of published scientific papers so that they develop the ability to report and interpret results. For this reason we include some publications from the "Antibiotics and Molecular Bacteriology Group" ( Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, University of the Basque Country, Bilbao, Spain).
