Jasone Cenoz is Professor of Applied Linguistics in the Department of Research Methods in Education at the University of the Basque Country. Her research focuses on the acquisition of English as a third language, bilingualism, multilingualism and education. She edits (in collaboration with Ulrike Jessner) the 'International Journal of Multilingualism? and she has recently published the book 'Towards Multilingual Education' (Multilingual Matters, 2009).
