What
for?
The management of events is a fundamental concept when it comes to
working in a team, the sharing of agendas and calendars on the web
makes it possible to undertake projects and carry out all types of
tasks.
What needs
to be done?
There are several web services that allow us to manage calendars and
agendas; in this activity, Google?s Calendar service will be
used and access to it is immediate from the GMail work
environment.
Key concepts regarding the calendar that the student must be aware of
and know how to use:
- The creation of entries
- The creation of a new calendar
- The addition of a public calendar (for example, the CVC-G9 calendar)
- Administer calendars:

- Insert the calendar in a website
- Calendar addresses
- Sharing of calendars and their relationship with the type of event:

- Private Event
- Public Event
What must
be handed in and how?
The student will respond to Activity 6 by sending a file, indicating
the name of his public calendar together with its Internet address. The
student may choose whether or not he/she wishes to create an entry on
the blog regarding the subject where the calendar?s HTML code would be
inserted.
