(photo) Dr Javier Fernández-Macho,
Professor of Econometrics.
Javier Fernández-Macho is Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics and Master of Science (MSc) in Statistics from the London School of Economics (Department of Statistics and Mathematical Science).
Currently he is Full Professor of Econometrics at the Department of Econometrics and Statistics (Applied Economics III) of the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) where he lectures on Econometrics and Time Series Analysis.
His main research topics include theoretical contributions on time series econometrics and spatial stochastic processes which have been published in international journals like Computational Statistics and Data Analysis, Journal of Business and Economic Statistics, Journal of Time Series Analysis, International Journal of Forecasting, Journal of Applied Statistics and Kybernetika. He has also coauthored several books including an Econometrics textbook (in Spanish: http://www.pearsoneducacion.com).
