COURSE PRESENTATION
In Lesson 1, the main objectives of communication, their importance, the steps during communication and the criteria that establish quality communication are described. In addition, the main parts that a technical document must contain and the document formats that can be found are described. Lesson 1 serves to define the most basic concepts to continue with the following topics.
In Lesson 2, the objectives and methodology for searching scientific and technical information are presented. It is the first task to perform if we want to specialize in a subject. In today's information society, the problem does not lie in the availability of documents but in knowing how to manage the volume of sources, in having criteria to determine their quality, and in obtaining the relevant information.

In Lesson 3, guidelines to improve technical writing in the field of science and technology are presented. In addition to describing the structure that a technical document should have, advice is provided regarding the use of vocabulary, representation of figures and tables, and proper use of references. The topic is completed with some practical exercises in which you will work on what you have learned throughout the topic.
In Lesson 4, guidelines to improve oral presentation in front of a technical audience are presented. Throughout the lesson, it will not only indicate how to plan, structure and design a good presentation, but also a series of tips to improve verbal and non-verbal communication, helping to transmit the message effectively and maintain the audience with the utmost attention. The subject is completed with some practical exercises.
