Activity 3
Web mail
What for
Taking into account that GMail (http://mail.google.com/mail/) works as the Entrance door to every Google service and also considering that some of those services will be used Turing the course, it is absolutely Essentials to have a Google account by opening a GMail e-mail account.
What has to be done
The GMail account will have the following characteristics:
- On The web account the following data will have to appear (separated by points); surname (or surnames) of the student and name (or names) of the student
- 2. When it is possible, the Gmail account will have the following structure surname1.name@gmail.com all in lowercase letters (for example, for the teacher Jesús Romo his GMail account would be: romo.jesus@gmail.com)
- 3. If the account name is not available in terms of point number 2, the student will have to choose between this two alternatives:
- surname1.surname2.name@gmail.com all in lowercase letters (for the aforementioned it would be: romo.uriarte.jesus@gmail.com)
- surname1.name1.name2@gmail.com all in lowercase letters (for the aforementioned it would be: romo.jesus.maria@gmail.com)
It probably will not be necessary but in extreme cases the next option is available surname1.surname2.name1.name2@gmail.com
What to hand in and how to do it
Once the GMail account has been obtained, the second part of the
activity is sending a message from that e-mail account to the following
address of the teacher Jesús

mail on the "message object" from the literal [web 2.0 HR] Activity 3, the way
